Are services provided to youth free?

Yes.  All of our services are provided at no cost to eligible youth.

What services are provided for youth?

GED classes, summer work experience, career exploration, computer skills, paid work experience, tips on interviewing and career advancement.

How do I determine if I am eligible to receive services?

To inquire about eligibility for services, visit the PA CareerLink-Beaver County office, located at 2103 Ninth Avenue, Beaver Falls, and speak to a Job Training for Beaver County representative, or call 724.728.4860 extension 218 and speak with Beth.  You may also go to our Contact Us page, enter your information and Beth will contact you.

Can someone assist me with my job search?

In today's job market, nearly everyone can benefit from professional job search assistance.  Job Training for Beaver County has designed a program to assist unemployed and underemployed out of school youth to find employment.   To find out more contact Beth at 724.728.4860 extension 218 or go to our Contact US page, enter your information and Beth will contact you.

What if I am not sure which occupation is right for me?

Job Training for Beaver County offers a Career Exploration workshop free to the public that can help you to determine which occupation best suits your goals.  To register for this workshop, visit the PA CareerLink - Beaver County office or call Poppy at 724.728.2020 extension 209.

What are the training programs that may qualify for grant funding?

Training programs that may qualify for grant funding are listed on the Statewide Training Providers List located on the PA CareerLink website.  http://www.pacareerlink.state.pa.us
