Job Training for Beaver County, Inc in partnership with the Southwest Corner (Washington, Greene and Beaver Counties) Workforce Investment Board (WIB), recognizes the need to network with industries to more effectively serve residents and employers of Beaver County. In today's economy, businesses need highly skilled workers and workers need good jobs and career opportunities. Industry Partnerships were created as an innovative approach to ensure the state, and its economic regions, maintain and further develop quality companies and workers.

Supported by the Commonwealth of PA, the Industry Partnerships bring together multiple employers, workers and worker representatives in the same industry cluster to address common needs. There are currently four Industry Partnerships within the Southwest Corner Workforce Investment Area:   

• Transportation and Logistics Industry Partnership
• PA Alliance for Security and Preparedness (PAASP)
• Building and Construction Trades Partnership Industry
• Mining Industry Partnership
